Spring Fashion Wishlist

As every other person in the world, I get insanely obsessed with pastels and florals in spring. A millennial pink (will forever love this hue) or a light lilac, or maybe a cool mint? I am all for that after February.

I find that I am really into light blues this year. Which is weird. I have never in my life been into light blues or lilacs. The fashion shows are rubbing on me, I am telling you.

Note that all of the pictures are clickable and will take you to a non-affiliate link to where you can buy the thing in it.

The Denim Jacket

Everyone needs a cool denim jacket. I love clean, not oversized styles of denim jackets (or anything, basically). Although the oversized style looks suuuuper cool on some people, it always looks like I am wearing a potato sack. Not a cute look. I really liked this jacket from Bershka (I am really into Bershka jackets recently, please bear with me).

There is absolutely nothing super exciting about this jacket, you can find a similar one everywhere, I just really need a new one, because I hate the one I have currently.

The Suit Life

power suit

Power suiting is, thankfully, still not a thing of the past. I love power suiting; It really ups your confidence and makes you feel like a businesswoman, ready to take on the world. I love this year’s monochromatic reiteration of the power suit. I am picturing a lilac or a light blue (told you) version, but this dusty pink option from Reserved was quickly added to my wishlist.

Bershka | Reserved | ASOS

The Pastel Biker Jacket

pink biker jacket

I have never in my life met anyone who doesn’t like the look of biker jackets. They just add a little 90s grundge to any look. Pair it with a more feminine look, like a floral dress, you will be on top of your street style game. Although I have enough biker jackets, I realised that I don’t have a pastel one. And this automatically means that I need one, right? Right. This pink Bershka one is literally what my pastel biker jackets dreams are made of.

Dress Me Up

You know you can’t walk into spring without a few new dresses, right?

This dress was actually not initially going to feature in this post. However, I saw it in store the other day and I want it so badly now (payday is coming!). It is such a nice material, not too thin, but not too thick, and looks much better than the photo. It will be perfect for that time of the year when the temperature in the office where is 20 degrees lower than the one outside.

Palazzo Pants

boohoo palazzo pants

I’ve been wanting to get some light palazzo pants since last year, but was really unsure about them. I like the look of palazzo pants with stilettos, I think it looks très chic. But I am tall. So I have always been wary of high heels. I have decided recently that I shouldn’t care that much, though, what if I tower over everybody? I do that without the high heels anyway.

Light fabric, in cream, or maybe pinstriped, with some statement pumps – that’s a look I would like to be wearing over and over in the spring and summer. I really liked this Boohoo option. It comes in cream, too, however I am including the dark red because white clothing generally looks horrendous in photos. And as an added bonus – THEY HAVE POCKETS!

ASOS

On The Feet

public desire sock boots

I am still very much into sock boots. I have also become very into the idea of purple/lilac sock boots. Which is incredibly weird, because my shoes are black or beige. But I feel like a lilac sock boot can be worn in so many ways, with so many outfits, and it is just going to give that extra thing that a dark floral dress is missing.

These Public Desire I love because of the colour block with the orange, which is, again, not something I would ever expect me to say. I think that they are super Megan Ellaby inspired.

Other options:

ALDO | Lost INK

What does your wishlist look like? I am super intrigued to see what other people will be buying in the beginning of each season!

  6. That pink leather jacket is the actual cutest and would be so fun to dress up with some black palazzo pants and 60s cat eye sunglasses. Heaven. You are so right that millennial pink is a keeper – pink has always been so under appreciated and I am so glad it is having it’s moment in the spotlight!
