[REVIEW] [JOLSE] TIAM AC Fighting AHA BHA PHA Toner 180ml
June 20, 2019
I received the TIA’M AHA BHA PHA Toner from the lovely Jolse.com. Jolse is a great place where you can get a lot of K-Beauty products with a little bit of discount. The shipping is quite fast, even to Bulgaria, and you can find leading brands, known even to the European market, like Dr.Jart+, Laneige, Etude House, Missha, and many many more.
I started using this about a month ago and have since been using this every other night. While I typically would prefer to try a product for longer than that, I can already tell you my opinion on this and whether I would purchase this specific product when I place my Jolse order. Keep reading to find out!

After a few tries, I decided that I prefer to pour a little in my hands and pat the product into my skin like an essence, instead of using a cotton pad. Firstly, I don’t have to use as many cotton pads and secondly, the product has a little bit of an oily texture which I lose when I pour it over a cotton pad. I use this right after my cleanser at the end of the day and it doesn’t leave my skin dry and tight, it just preps it for the next step of my skincare routine.
This month I did notice that my skin was clearer than before, with less blackheads, however, I also started using an oil cleanser when removing my makeup, so that could have helped. Of course, I can’t say that it’s just the oil cleanser, I think it’s just a combination of both. There are a lot of good ingredients in this product, which help with skin exfoliation – AHAs for exfoliation and hydration on the skin’s surface, BHAs for oil control and pore-deep exfoliation, and PHAs for a less sensitizing exfoliation.
That being said, what do I think of this product and would I purchase it when I run out of it? While it does work, it does exfoliate (you can totally feel that, as with any other AHA toner), I try to stay away from products with alcohol in them. And unfortunately, this one has alcohol (it’s not listed exactly what type of alcohol, so I’m taking it that it is the ‘bad’ type) listed as the 2nd ingredient and you can kind of smell it. While the toner itself doesn’t dry out the skin due to hydrating and conditioning ingredients like Panthenol and Allantoin, alcohol in skincare can cause dryness when used over a long period.
